I’ve been at this for about 4 years and I think I’ll finally have it figured out in another two or three years. However, until that fateful day comes I’ve decide to share the wealth of my own experience for those of you out there who have decided to teach in an urban school district ( TFA folks, NYC teaching fellows, ATL Plus, GATAPP, etc).
If someone had written a handbook for me I think my first year ( or two ) would have been much less stressful and much more productive.
